Brand identity for Target’s largest kids’ clothing line, Cat & Jack, which features classics with an imagination all their own. I created and delivered a comprehensive style guide for Target Creative to use for the implementation of the brand throughout all their stores.
I created the custom-drawn logo, which was inspired by classic schoolbook primer cursive. Paired with bright, poppy colors and typography one might find in children’s books, the brand positions itself as the go-to for kids to express themselves that spans ages and aesthetics. The photography direction is inclusive of all, and pairs simple, graphic background motifs with kids’ joyful expressions and spontaneity. For the launch event, the Partners & Spade team concepted a fashion “slide” show of kids showing off the clothing on a huge slide.
